What is a hybrid inverter?

A hybrid inverter is a single device that converts solar DC power to AC electricity while also managing battery charging from solar or grid and discharge to power your home.

A hybrid inverter integrates three core functions: converting solar panel DC power into usable AC electricity for your home, charging a battery bank when solar generation exceeds demand, and discharging stored battery power when the sun is not producing or grid demand is high.
